Mark Stanley received his Master’s in Fine Art in 1977 from the University of Minnesota. He has led, authored and managed numerous video and multimedia productions, and his work has received many awards as well as national recognition. One of the best examples of his work, the award-winning Arts of Japan videodisk, can be viewed in the Japanese Arts gallery at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts. In addition, he teaches courses in multimedia and CD-ROM design. He currently holds an adjunct faculty position at the University of Minnesota .

Mark's distinctive characteristics include a great "eye" for high-quality design and ease of use; translating technical concepts into plain English; and championing the information revolution and its potential to change the way we work, learn, and play.
